Hash Brown and Egg Casserole

    Ingrédients

    1 (2 lb) package brown fries frozen , thawed
    1 pound pork sausage
    1 small onion , diced
    5 eggs
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    12 ounces grated cheddar cheese



    Directions


    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F ( 175 degrees C). Grease a baking pan 2 quarts . Place hash Casserole Casserole brown potatoes in the bottom of a baking dish .


    Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook, stirring sausage and onion until sausage is crumbly , evenly browned and no longer pink ; drain. Meanwhile, mix the eggs , milk ,


     onion powder, garlic , salt and pepper powder and pour over potatoes . Layer half of Cheddar cheese and sausage mixture remaining cheddar. Cover with foil.

     

    Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove the lid ; return the casserole in the oven and bake until a knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 10 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
