Ingrédients
1 pound beef stew meat cube
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons butter
1 medium yellow onion , chopped
1/4 cup red wine
1 cube of beef broth
1 cup hot water
1 large potato , cut into cubes
Half a cup of baby carrots
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup water
2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce

Directions
Place beef cubes and flour in a resealable plastic bag . Seal and shake to coat meat with flour. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the meat on all sides . Transfer to the slow cooker .
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and saute onion until tender . Transfer to pot with beef . Pour the wine into the pan to deglaze , then pour the wine into the slow cooker .


Dissolve beef bouillon cube in a cup of hot water and pour into the slow cooker . Place potatoes and carrots in the pot and season with rosemary , thyme , garlic powder and pepper . Add remaining water and Worcestershire sauce. Add water if necessary to cover all ingredients.
Cover the pot and cook the stew on low 7-8 hours .
